Hi, I’m Lauren Brummitt! I am so excited to be a part of this amazing team. Growing up in church, I fell in love with Jesus at an early age and experienced many growing pains during my spiritual walk as well as some learned from some church hurt. Born and raised in the Jacksonville area, I am honored to help the pastors and prayer leaders who call our amazing city home, in addition to members of the global church .
In 2017, I was training to serve on my church’s Care Ministry Team when I felt God call me to the field of mental health. I obediently answered the call by enrolling in graduate school the next day! God used graduate school to develop my clinical knowledge and increase my passion for helping people. My clinical fieldwork as an Intern Chaplain at Navicent Medical Center taught me how to help individuals and pastors in the midst of their anxiety and fear. Additionally, my internship with Family Therapy Associates of Jackssonville has deepened my understanding of how meaningful it is for people to experience healthy secure relationships in their lives. Collectively, these experiences have given me a fervor for equipping church leaders with tools to navigate and respond to mental health issues.
I am excited to help equip you with knowledge to confidently respond to mental health issues in your church.
