Hi! I’m Rachel Church. I am a Jacksonville-native and have lived here all but 6 years of my life. Those 6 years were spent supporting my husband as we toured the Gulf and Atlantic coasts compliments of the U.S. Coast Guard! That experience gave me a great appreciation for the sacrifices of our service men and women as well as their families.
No matter where we have been, there is a friend who has always travelled with us: Jesus. I first met Him as a child and solidified my relationship with Him in my early 20’s. It was at that point I committed my life to whatever His plan entailed. That commitment has afforded me a wide range of ministry opportunities over the years. It has always been my prayer to see others as Jesus sees them and to have a compassionate heart to help them in their place of need. Little did I know that He was preparing me to eventually align my career with my ministry. I enjoy helping individuals and couples work through anxiety and communication struggles as well as address the role substance misuse plays in family dynamics. I also have a very special place in my heart for ministers and their families. I recognize the rewards as well as the unique challenges that come with being in ministerial roles.
